Nathan’s Passion Project

Bringing drinking water to those who need it most

our story

Welcome to Nathan’s Passion Project

Nathan Lawhorn had generous heart and kind soul; his passion was helping others. If you gave something to Nathan, there was a good chance he would give it to someone who needed it more. He inspires us daily to give to others and make the world a better place.

One of Nathan’s passions was fresh drinking water. To continue Nathan’s legacy of generosity & service, his family has created Nathan’s Passion Project to supply fresh water to people who so desperately need it. We partner with Teen Missions International who trains and sends both teen and adult project teams to drill wells in Malawi and Zambia.

Give the gift of clean living water

Two billion people around the world use a contaminated water source. Contaminated water can transmit diseases such diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and polio, and is estimated to cause 485,000 deaths each year. And, by 2025, half the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas. The time to act is now.

Our first project is to raise $ 6,500 for a well in the Mansa Area of Northwest Zambia. This will cover all the materials to drill, mud, and pipe the well including the pump. We will use additional funds for supplies such as diamond drill bits.

Please partner with us to give the gift of fresh water in Nathan’s honor.
